Sometimes I receive a written message that seems to be halfway between a statement and a question. I don't immediately know what to do about it, but such questions are very valuable, because they encourage me to be proactive instead of reactive, to think my reply through rather than just to shoot off my mouth.
I always prefer to be constructive, to avoid saying anything that might inadvertently hurt the sender of the message and to avoid telling others how to live their lives, because to do that is stupid, because I can only possibly know how to live my own life. (Even that is always in some doubt).
Each person must be allowed to discover their own answers for themselves; how to succeed and have fun. By writing down what I am thinking, as I am doing right now, I run out of words.
Then I ask myself "what would the sender feel like if they received this statement?" I imagine myself being the person who I imagine will receive the message, so that I can imagine how they might feel. Of course, I can really only imagine what I, myself, would feel like if I was them. I am
really still me, still in my own world, as always, using my own personal interpretation of the actual world.
Each person has their own interpretation of the real world. That is their own world.
Then again I find that I have run out of words. I read what I have written so far and find out if there is something more to be said or changed so that it becomes a more complete statement. I know that when my statement is eventually complete, I shall learn something from it, that I didn't know
before. Maybe it will tell me what to say to the sender of the message.
Instead of making this statement about myself any longer, I will send it to the life mastery web site or to the life mastery email discussion group or share it with others in the online life mastery chat room.
What do visitors to the web site, subscribers to the discussion group and visitors to the chat room think about this way of looking at, and handling messages from other people?
I am sure that all other visitors to the web site and also subscribers to the discussion group and chat room will join me in saying "We unconditionally love and support you, just the way you are, in all your power and magnificence"
